After years of musicological research, on March 3rd we released our new discographic project, the CD "inVisibili", which we recorded with countertenor Xavier Sabata.
This work has two objectives. On the one hand, we want to shine a light on composers overshadowed by the fame of more celebrated figures of their time. Therefore, we intend to do justice to excellent musicians who have been relegated to a second tier they don't deserve, such as Gasparini, Ristori, Porta, Pollarolo or Sarro. On the other hand, we want to make some of the musicians in our ensemble stand out: as soloists, they share the spotlight with exceptional singer and dear friend Xavier Sabata.
Working from the basis of an exhaustive research by musicologist Giovanni Andrea Sechi, Sabata and our conductor, Dani Espasa, rescue these forgotten gems and offer us a recital full of emotions, fireworks, virtuosity and bravura. First-rate Baroque! Audiences at the Wigmore Hall (London), the Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona), the Espacio Turina (Seville) or the Auditorio Nacional (Madrid) have already had the chance to enjoy "inVisibili" live. And now that the CD is available in physical format and on digital platforms, its journey has only just begun...
